Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010

No hedgehog didn't sponser the event :) Looking forward for the asics singlet & finisher T-shirt. At the moment, I don't have any asics products. Had been getting New Balance and adidas for the last 7 years...

A change in event name from Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (for the last 8 years), to a new name - Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore, this year the race is opened to 60k runners for all categories...an increased from 50k last year.

New site: marathonsingapore.com

Signed up for the full marathon today, the 5th marathon in 6 years and my 3rd year as a charity runner, raising funds for the special children in Singapore, hopefully more runners can help to support the charity.

With Standard Chartered Bank credit card, runners get a further 15% off registration, remember to sign up as an early bird, as usual the price will increase as it gets closer to the running date.

RUN FOR GOOD

The Run for good (RFG) is a charity programme that is initiated by the Standard Chartered Bank. This year, it aims to raise funds for Club Rainbow (Singapore) to help children who suffer from major chronic and potentially life-threatening illnesses. Extend a helping hand and make a difference to the lives of our beneficiary as you sign up to be a RFG participant. In appreciation of your philanthropic gesture, the top 500 RFG participants who raise more than S$300 as an individual or a minimum of S$5,000 as an organization will receive a refund of their registration fees as well as a limited edition RFG souvenir.
